Have you ever felt a change in atmosphere during some exhilarating moment. The very air within and around our bodies has a different feel to it.
Interestingly, the origin of the word Spirit is air and breath. We hear reports of Yogis and all sorts of masters experiencing inner winds, waters, oils and fires. Have you ever felt an inner healing feeling that has the sense of warmth and magnetism to it? Let’s take a moment to initiate the feeling of a good presence right now as you read this article. Willingness is the only necessity.
Is there a change of atmosphere in your space that you feel within and around your body? Even in the least degree? Can you feel the right vibe coming thorugh? There seems to be confusion in some circles as to whether we should feel or not. Of course we should feel! We now know from numerous University studies that our emotional feeling is 4 times more important in determining life success than IQ!
These are the feelings that reveal where we are in fear, distorted and/or out of balance. There may be some elements that are difficult to face. This is what purification is all about. Once we admit to what is, what has been and what should be we are automatically co-ordinate into proper alignment. We may rather like to hide in fearful clinging rather than be revealed as imperfect and have to be re-shaped. For some it’s just too much to look at the
truth about themselves. However, I humbly submit that though we may be apparently flawed what’s beneath that is an unshaken core that knows the majesty of a successful attitude and behavior. It is not a mystery. We just need to clear away the dross of attitudes and actions that are keeping our good energy bottled up. If we are to bring this forward just for a moment transformation begins occurring quite naturally. No effort, we change because we are inspired to do so.
“Then said Almitra, Speak to us of Love. And he raised
his head and looked upon the people, and there fell stillness upon them. And with a great voice he said: When love beckons you, follow him, though his ways are hard and steep. If in your fear you would seek only loves peace and loves pleasure, then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of loves threshing-floor, Into the season less world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears. Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself. Love possesses not nor would it be possessed.”
